Since 2005, we produce the humidification pads, called OmniPads, in our own factory. This way, the quality of the Omnipads is guaranteed.
The OmniPads are based on the principle of evaporation. The pads are constantly saturated with water that seeps from the top to the bottom. Because the air is drawn or blown forcedly through the pads, the air will absorb the moisture because of the evaporation. A major advantage of this method is that the air will never be supersaturated. This means that there is no risk that drops are formed in the air (mist), like there is with the nozzles. This way the product can never get wet.
The OmniPads are installed in the pressure chamber. The installation is realised in such a way that the humidification can be switched on or switched off. Should humidification not be necessary, the air will be diverted so that it will not have to be drawn through the pads.
