This year APH Group Romania imported , for Romanian market, new systems to “beat weed”. APH Group delivered 2 pieces of Steketee machines to clients, situated in Braila and Galati (South-East Romania). They grow vegatables like carrots, onions, red beet and also some potatoes,

Our client in Galati is doing the weedprotection by means of chemical spraying in potatoes. The special developed covering hoods, protect the leafs of the potatoes to avoid contact with the sprayed chemical liquid. To have a clear overview, the machine is mounted on the frontside of the tractor. On the rearside of the tractor the tank, with a content of 400 liter, is mounted.

In Braila an interrow cultivator was delivered. The cultivator is mounted in the front 3-point linkage of the tractor.
The working depth is adjustable per element, by means of a spindle. Machine can be used up to 5 rows on a bed of 150cm.!!!

APH Group Romania manager, Mr. Ioan Covaciu, putted both machines into operation succesfully.
