04 - 08 - 2011 - Dewulf KWATRO in Slovakia!
The NEW 4-row self propelled harvester Dewulf KWATRO was delivered to the biggest potato grower in Slovakia. This customer is also growing 400 ha of potatoes especially for washing and packing and 200 ha of onions, close to Senec area.
The KWATRO harvester combines three strong characteristics within one innovating harvester concept, while remaining faithful to its origin. The principle of KWATRO represents modularity, maneuverability and a high daily output.

For Dewulf quality is just as important as capacity. Therefore KWATRO prevents the ridges from being damaged before pick-up. The harvesting channel is placed in front of the Claas tracks. The tracks result in a minimum soil compaction and a higher efficiency, even in harsh conditions. Thanks to the single back wheel the machine has a small turning radius, resulting in an exceptional maneuverability.
The cleaning system is a combination of several, effective and proven components. The three first belts and the hedgehog belt insures an effective cleaning. Then, depending on the circumstances, the hedgehog can send the harvested crop back to a cleaning module (axial rollers or Easy Clean unit) or directly into the elevator. In this way, the KWATRO can be perfectly adapted to all circumstances.
Fed by a large ring elevator and a large sorting table the big hopper can be emptied while driving, for a higher daily capacity.
The harvester operating in Slovakia is also equipped with an onion set, for harvesting two lines of onions in one drive. The client is very satisfied with the quality of work and he appreciates the harvesting capacity of the KWATRO and the possibility to harvest also in harsh conditions.
